Twine-Wrapped Handmade Soaps

Hello hello and Happy Monday to you all! I am totally EXCITED to share an easy way to get started with making your own handmade soaps on The Twinery’s Blog today!

The rustic look of hand-milled soap is the perfect compliment to the Twinery‘s eco-luxe baker’s twine. The best part? The Twinery keeps coming out with gorgeous shades so there’s truly a color for everyone and for any occasion. I used Lilac and Honeydew to represent the Lavender essential oils I used in both soaps. Be sure to join me over at The Twinery’s Blog for resources and more photos!

If you’re friends with me or subscribed to my updates on Facebook, you’ve probably already heard that I am starting another separate blog and will be launching in July -

This is really, really super exciting for me.

I have gone through such a transformation the past 6-9 months, and I really want to share what I’ve learned so far.

My journey has led me to the most humbling place spiritually and emotionally and I am ready to move forward with one of my passions – simplifying my life and showing you how you can do the same in the process. We will talk about faith, family, and making our own stuff at home so we can save money and focus on the more important things in life like spending time by a fire, or taking a day off (I actually did that last Friday, it was amazing).

Yes, I am multi-passionate. That’s ok!

To be the FIRST to know when I launch just head on over to and sign up with your email address. SO easy.

Plus, you’ll get this fun little FREE recipe card printable as my way of saying “Thanks”!

Be sure to let me know if you have a photo of your free printables in use! I’d love to share them with our other sweet savers on the SBM Facebook page!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Enjoy Today!! xo Angelica

  1. Love this soap! I actually make a lot of my own stuff too. I have made my own laundry detergent, but the dry I heard from a washing machine fixer guy that the liquid gums up the drums in the front loader. I’ve made my own mosquito repellant, foot scrub and want to tackle lip gloss next!

LOVE that, Anita! I’d love to know your insect repellant recipe! :) Thanks so much for stopping by!

  2. This is so beautiful wrapping, those soaps looks lush!

  3. Love the soap… I’m not sure I would want to take it out of that beautiful packaging! Can’t wait to see what you’ll come up with next.
